ToPearl
Topearl is a well nice site, please check this one out. They sell by the bulk so I won't be buying anyone from them any time soon! But still, the craftsmanship is apparent. I might even go and try to find some of the items listed on that site available on other sites for singular pieces since I liked them so much! On a side note if your searching for more info about Oriental, Asian, or Chinese culture there are also some other sites you can look on but, I always like to advise Wikipedia since this site is a "book of knowledge." anyone and everything you want to know, you will find on this site!
For instance did you know that the first habitancy to start development jewelry were the Chinese, 5000 years ago?!? Here's a puny tidbit I found on Wiki that was well thoughprovoking about Jade Jewelry:
"Chinese jewelery designs were very religion-orientated and contained Buddhist symbols, a fact which remains to this day.
The Chinese used silver in their jewelery more often than gold, and decorated it with their favorite color, blue. Blue kingfisher feathers were tied onto early Chinese jewelery and later, blue gems and glass were incorporated into designs. However, Chinese favorite jade over any other stone. They fashioned it using diamonds. The Chinese revered jade because of the human-like qualities they assigned to it, such as its hardness, durability and beauty. The first jade pieces were very simple, but as time progressed, more involved designs evolved. Jade rings from in the middle of the 4th and 7th centuries Bce show evidence of having been worked with a combination grist machine; hundreds of years before the first mention of such equipment in the west."
That's well thoughprovoking to me because approximately any Oriental site you go on that sells items, they have some sort of a product that involves dissimilar colors of Jade such as green red and purple. But I never well knew why! You can also check out this other site called All About Gem Stones and do a crusade for Jewelry_History_Asiatic.
